The one verse.. our version was:

Been singing this since I was a little girl and I’m 55 now. I sing it to my grand kids and they all love it

We sang this song at camp. We had the same first verse, but we also had a second verse: I love you in the morning and even late at night. And everything you do is perfectly alright.
